Cookers with catalytic oven cleaning
Catalytic cleaning
— ovens with this type of cleaning have a special coating on the inner surface that breaks down grease that gets on the walls of the oven. Cleavage is accelerated at high temperature; the oven is thus self-cleaning to a certain extent with every use. However the efficiency of catalytic cleaning is lower than that of pyrolytic cleaning, it is unable to cope with the entire volume of fat that enters the walls. Therefore, such an oven must either be washed from time to time in the traditional way or often (every 2 to 3 inclusions) wiped from the inside. On the other hand, catalytic ovens are cheaper than pyrolytic ones, and the cleaning itself does not require additional electricity/gas costs, nor time consuming (except for washing/wiping).Show
