First of all, it is worth noting that the name “USB 3.0” is outdated. The current official version of the marking is USB 3.2 gen 1, and a little earlier the name USB 3.1 gen1 was used. However, many sellers and even manufacturers continue to use the name USB 3.0 for their accessories.

In terms of capabilities, this version of USB allows to achieve speeds of up to 4.8 Gbps – 10 times faster than the previous USB 2.0 standard – as well as higher power supply (up to 4.5 W). This is one of the common USB standards found in modern devices.
