Reliable, well-balanced and full-bodied ATX motherboard based on the Intel B660 chipset. Equipped with an LGA 1700 processor socket and tuned to work with 12th generation Intel Core, Pentium and Celeron processors. Although the PRIME series is usually written in the entry-level class, this is a fairly serious model that will become a solid foundation for an entry-level workstation or mid-range gaming PC.

The Asus PRIME B660-PLUS D4 boasts a good elemental base (8 power phases, VRM and PCH heatsinks, high-quality chokes and durable capacitors), a well-thought-out layout and useful tools for additional system setup and control. In particular, in the Fan Xpert proprietary application, the user can adjust the cooling system settings to get the desired ratio between the heating of the components and the noise level.

And in the UFEI menu there is an advanced mode that opens up many additional system settings and is equipped with a full-fledged search, like in a web browser. Like all boards with the PLUS prefix, this model boasts an expanded set of interfaces including a pair of reinforced PCIe 16x slots for video cards, 3 M.2 connectors with support for the fourth generation PCIe interface, 4 SATA 3 connectors for connecting standard hard drives and 5 connectors at once to expand the cooling system.
