Full size ATX motherboard for gamers and power users. It is equipped with an AMD AM4 processor socket and is based on the mid-range AMD B550 system logic. The manufacturer is positioning itself as a model of the upper part of the middle price category from the popular Asus TUF (The Ultimate Force) series, the products of which are designed for a long service life and undergo comprehensive stress tests for stability and stability.
Advanced technical specifications and the presence of a high-quality 10-phase power subsystem make it possible to build on its basis a fairly productive gaming computer or a small workstation with a powerful video card and a Ryzen 5 / Ryzen 7 caliber processor with a little manual overclocking. The implementation of Crossfire technology makes it possible to install not one, but two video cards in the system, working in paired mode.
The Asus TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II package includes four slots for installing DDR4 RAM modules (maximum speed 4866 MHz), two M.2 slots with additional cooling and support for the high-speed PCI-E 4.0 interface, as well as six SATA3 outputs for hard drives and SATA SSDs. Additional bonuses up the sleeve of the device are USB-C 3.2 gen2x2 interface support, a Realtek LAN controller with a bandwidth of 2.5 Gbps, and an integrated wireless module. Digital nutrition
ASUS TUF Gaming B550-Plus WiFi II is a motherboard for the flagship Ryzen 5000 series processors, including models with the XT and 3D index. This is achieved by a 10-phase VRM power subsystem based on DrMOS digital mosfets. They combine a driver and two upper- and lower-side transistors in a single chip, which more effectively smooths out the voltage.
Double internet
The mosfets are covered with large aluminum radiators, and the SafeSlot video card connector is reinforced to protect it from bending. Wired Ethernet internet reaches speeds of 2.5 Gbps, is protected from lightning strikes by LanGuard and manages TurboLan gaming priorities. Wireless Internet is represented by a Wi-Fi 6 AX module up to 1.2 Gbps with an external antenna to enhance reception.
Rare connector
A pair of M.2 slots support NVMe 4.0 and 3.0 SSDs, respectively. In addition to the two rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, Thunderbolt can be brought to the front panel of the case, which is extremely rare on AMD motherboards. The microphone filters out background noise using artificial intelligence. Of course, it would not be possible without the proprietary ASUS Aura backlight.
