It is the top model in the Asus ROG line of premium motherboards supporting any 2/4/6/8-core 8th and 9th generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron processors with Coffee Lake microarchitecture and processor connector LGA 1151 v2. Designed for enthusiasts of conventional and extreme overclocking, benchmarking. Suitable for assembling high-end gaming configurations of the highest level. It can become an excellent basis for building multiGPU systems using AMD CrossFire and Nvidia SLI technologies. On the back there is a metal plate for reinforcement and heat dissipation. 10-phase power system. Element base of 10K Black Metallic capacitors, MicroFine Alloy chokes and Vishay Siliconix SiC639 microcircuits (up to 50 A). PWM controller ASP1400CTB.
The "ReTry" button, the "NODE" port, and the "MemOK! II" switch are located at the bottom of the board. In the upper right corner there is a diagnostic LED indicator and the "Power" and "Reboot" buttons.
