It belongs to the middle price segment and occupies an intermediate position in the Asus hierarchy, located between entry-level utility motherboards and Asus ROG overclocker models. The board is based on the Intel B660 chipset and is designed to be paired with 12th generation Intel APUs codenamed Alder Lake. The internal layout of the Asus PRIME B660M-A WIFI D4 includes four slots for installing DDR4 RAM modules (maximum frequency 5333 MHz), two M.2 slots with support for the high-speed PCIe 4.0 interface, as well as four ports for SATA 3 and PCIe 16x slot for video card. It can display an image from the built-in Intel UHD Graphics video core processors using HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 digital outputs. Onli...ne processing of network traffic is performed by a gigabit network controller from Intel. Plus, there is already a wireless module with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v 5.2 on board.
