The gaming “breed” of the model is given out by the screen characteristics: refresh rate of 165 Hz, response time of 4 ms (or 1 ms with MPRT technology), AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive frame synchronization. The resolution of the display is standard - Full HD (1920x1080 pixels). A VA-type matrix with vertical and horizontal viewing angles within 178° served as a substrate for the screen of the model.

Of the gaming "gadgets" in the monitor, the functions of highlighting dark areas of the image (Shadow Boost), displaying the crosshair of the sight, the fps counter and the countdown timer are implemented. The Asus TUF Gaming VG247Q1A is connected to video signal sources via the Display Port v 1.2 connection interface and two HDMI 1.4 ports.
