The design of the Asus TUF Gaming VG279QM monitor is based on an eight-bit IPS matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440 and backlighting with white LEDs (W-LED) without the effect of high-frequency flicker.

It provides excellent viewing angles, adequate color reproduction and a low average response time of 1ms GtG. The ultra-high refresh rate and support for synchronization technologies allow this model to create smooth and impeccably clear images in fast-moving scenes. This model can be the best choice for fast-paced games such as first-person shooters, fighting games, simulators and real-time strategy games.

In all such games, the user is required to quickly react in response to the current game situation, so a fast Refresh Rate and low Response Time will provide a tangible advantage over opponents in a network game. Thanks to support for HDR technology and the proprietary Shadow Boost function, the monitor improves image detail in deep shadows. It is connected to a computer via a digital interface HDMI v2.0 or Display Port v1.2.
