DisplayHDR 400 and FreeSync Premium support
The monitor stands out with a fast 1ms response time, 160Hz refresh rate, rich color palette (120% sRGB), and brightness and contrast levels that exceed DisplayHDR 400 requirements. FreeSync Premium, VRR, and ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync technologies are used to improve image clarity in dynamic scenes. However, it is worth noting that at low refresh rates, the image may flicker, which causes a slight ghosting effect. Compared to other IPS monitors, the Asus TUF Gaming VG32UQA1A has somewhat limited viewing angles, and the distribution of black is not always even.
HDMI 2.1 for connecting consoles with maximum quality
The monitor also features a dual-port USB hub and gaming features such as a crosshair, timer, FPS counter, and Shadow Boost. It connects to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles via HDMI 2.1, which ensures maximum image quality without color compression. However, the monitor does not support height adjustment — the stand only allows you to adjust the screen angle.
