Asus VP32AQ 31.5 " black
![]() |
Outwardly unpretentious monitor, which, unknowingly, is easy to confuse with budget Asus office monitors. But if you do not meet a book by its cover, then we will have a solid 32-inch model with a slightly above average level, which is equally useful for simple work with texts / code, as well as for finer processing of visual content. The monitor is assembled on the basis of a 10-bit IPS-matrix with Quad HD resolution, 100% coverage of the sRGB color triangle and the ability to fully display HDR content with extended dynamic range.
To reduce eye strain, the Asus VP32AQ provides Flicker-Free features to eliminate backlight flicker and a built-in blue filter. In addition to everything, the model is equipped with a pair of 2-watt stereo speakers, which will come in handy during a conference call or watching videos on YouTube. With AMD FreeSync/NVIDIA G-Sync support, a 75Hz refresh rate, and bonus GamePlus software, this monitor is perfect for connecting to a gaming PC or gaming console.

First impression: "WOW!". A 32" monitor with QHD resolution is awesome! I won't advertise where I specifically bought it, but there are no issues with the monitor. No dead pixels, the product is new, official (successfully registered on Asus website with a 36-month warranty activated). Plus, there's a 1-month promotion for using Adobe applications. There are tons of monitor modes to explore. Fine-tuning of the image is possible. I really liked the HDR function. There’s also a 4K resolution mode – watching movies is a joy. The perception of the picture in games is on a whole different level. Personally, a 32" diagonal, with my eyes positioned 60 cm or more from the monitor, is very comfortable. Slight backlight bleed on a purely black screen from the bottom is there, but it’s not critical for me at all. This issue is present in IPS panels 95% of the time. BUT! How often will I be observing a completely black screen? During scene changes in movies? I don’t pay attention to it at all in reality. Quality, price, color reproduction, image adjustment capabilities. HDR, official manufacturer support, 32" diagonal with 2K resolution, image saturation and clarity, built-in monitor power supply. A downside is that the power cable might be a bit short for some users. |
Very cool monitor, almost completely satisfied. A bit expensive for a non-professional monitor. Colors are reproduced well, got it for color correction. Color rendering, quality of materials. No height adjustment. You need to purchase a VESA stand. |
Monitor for work
The thin bezel 31.5-inch monitor is positioned as a safe working solution. It implements proprietary Eye Care technology that eliminates backlight flicker (Flicker-free) and filters blue light (Low Blue Light). The Asus VP32AQ is eye-safe with TÜV Rheinland certification.
The model is suitable not only for typical office tasks, but also for working with graphics. First of all, this is due to the 10-bit matrix and good sRGB with 100% space coverage of this color model. Accordingly, the user has the right to expect realistic, deep colors with detailed color reproduction, which is important when creating and / or color grading photos and videos.
Chips for games
The Asus VP32AQ is based on an IPS-matrix with Quad HD resolution, which provides wide viewing angles and decent detail (0.27 mm pixel size, as on 24-inch FullHD monitors). HDR support is also announced, but a peak brightness of 350 cd / m² is unlikely to reveal the full potential of the corresponding content.
The panel is characterized by a slightly increased refresh rate (75 Hz) and a small response lag (5 ms). In addition, FreeSync and G-Sync Compatible synchronization technologies have been implemented specifically for gamers to ensure smooth video sequences and eliminate gaps in signal transmission, respectively, from AMD and NVIDIA video cards. And gamers have access to game functions within the framework of GamePlus proprietary development: a sight, an FPS counter and a timer.
Acoustic not required
The monitor is equipped with three connectors - DisplayPort v 1.2 and HDMI 1.4, as well as a mini-Jack output for connecting headphones. A pair of built-in speakers of 2 W each will also allow you to conduct video conferences or listen to podcasts.
The disadvantages of the model include non-ergonomic stands. She has only one "degree of freedom" - the tilt of the screen. Otherwise, the Asus VP32AQ is a noteworthy "workhorse" with a large display and a reasonable price tag.
