Low-cost Perfect
Saw Makita MT M2300 can be described as a great option for your money. It is definitely not outstanding (its width and depth of cut are far from the largest), but the tool’s capabilities are enough to solve 90% of the tasks that owners of small workshops have. Despite not the most powerful engine (1500 W), trimming can cut not only wood, but also some types of non-ferrous metals or plastic (of course, if you install the appropriate saw blades).
Makita is always Makita, albeit in a red case
The saw has a fairly large frame (many manufacturers of low-cost tools save on this), which allows you to work not only with small workpieces, but also with very large boards. The kit comes with a simple vertical vice for pressing the sawn materials. The angles of rotation of the table and the inclination of the "head" are regulated simply and precisely. Despite the "low-cost" of the equipment, there are no backlashes between the parts. The cloth dust collector perfectly collects dust, but for long-term work it is better to connect a vacuum cleaner so as not to be distracted by the periodic emptying of the bag.
Miter saws in this power class are not particularly quiet, but this Makita is louder than the rest. Users often complain about high noise levels, so wear headphones while working.
Good and cheap miter saw
This model is the cheapest among all Makita miter saws. In terms of design, features and capabilities, it is almost a complete analogue of the popular Makita MLS100 saw, but it costs almost 30% less. Therefore, it can be safely recommended to carpenters who want to buy a quality tool for their home workshop without overpaying a single extra penny.
