Why do smartphones start to slow down and what amount of RAM is now considered optimal?Let's explore the reasons for the slowdown and the optimal amount of RAM for smartphones
Video reviews

Korean answer iPhone Xs Max

Immediately after the release of the iPhone Xs Max, the Samsung camp rustled and began to prepare their answer to the top-end “apple” smartphone. After the not very interesting Galaxy S9, the company's specialists really did their best and gave out one of the best smartphones of the year, which has virtually no flaws and which wants to show off like a racing sports car.

Pro Triple Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ features a triple main camera on the back that snaps pro-level shots without exaggeration. It has very accurate colour reproduction, wide dynamic range, high optical zoom detail, low noise in low light, and realistic bokeh. It shows itself especially well when determining exposure and white balance. But the front camera is not simple either: unlike the S10, the Plus version has a new module that allows you to take selfies with good bokeh (blurred background) and shoot video in 2160p quality. Specialists from DxOMark awarded the main camera 113 points (10th place in the rating among all camera phones) and 96 points for the front camera (3rd result in the rating).

Dynamic AMOLED display with 3040x1440 resolution and HDR10+

Unlike the regular version of the Galaxy S10, the model with the Plus prefix has got a screen with curved sides, but in the new Infinity O corporate style. Simply put, there are actually no frames here, and the display occupies 88% of the entire front panel. It’s pointless to talk about the screen quality here, the Dynamic AMOLED matrix has a resolution of 3040x1440 at a size of 6.4", supports HDR10 + and shows almost the most juicy picture among all the flagships of 2019. The same applies to hardware: the top-end Exynos 9820 processor, along with 8 GB of RAM, is close to laptops in terms of power density.

One more thing

As part of the other advantages of the S10 Plus, both the Swiss, and the reaper, and the gamer on the pipe: an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built into the screen (it is more resistant to fraud attempts, as it reads three-dimensional skin images, not two-dimensional ones), AKG stereo speakers, a wide range of wireless communications, fast and wireless charging, etc. Interestingly, the new wireless charging has learned to work in two directions and can recharge other gadgets like wireless headphones. Well, do not forget that the stylish case made of metal and tempered glass is not afraid of water — Samsung indicates that the smartphone can be immersed in water to a depth of one and a half metres for a maximum of thirty minutes.

In addition to the display, an improved main camera, and a capacious battery, the S10, unlike the S9, has a new front camera that allows you to take selfies with good bokeh (blurred background). Samsung also got rid of the top and bottom bezels, and while increasing the size of the display, the body area increased by only 5% in length, but decreased by 5% in width. There is a two-way wireless charging function when the phone acts as a power bank, but according to the wireless standard. Wireless charging itself has been improved to the second version, with greater efficiency and charging speed (Fast Wireless Charging 2.0). The smartphone uses a new Dynamic AMOLED matrix, designed specifically for devices with the ability to bend. Support for Dolby Atmos/AKG (surround sound). The back cover can be either glass or ceramic. The main differences between the S10 and S10 Plus are the display size (6.1" vs. 6.4"), the presence of two front cameras in the S10 Plus and the battery (4100 mAh vs. 3500 mAh). The processor, main camera, matrix and sensors are identical. The S10 series has cases with a gradient overflow (mother of pearl). Has support for HDR10+
