Compact "fifty dollars", as the common people call fixed lenses with a focal length of 50 mm, intended for mirrorless cameras with a Sony E-mount mount. It focuses on small dimensions (68x45 mm) and light weight (174 g). At the same time, the indicator of maximum aperture is sacrificed — f / 2.5. "Poltishok" relies on a simple optical design, made up of 9 elements in 9 groups. Two lenses in the optical design are aspherical, and one is extra-low dispersion.

In auto focus mode, the Sony FE 50mm f / 2.5 G is focused from a distance of 35 cm, and if you focus manually — from 31 cm. The lens boasts excellent sharpness across the entire field of the frame with an open aperture, it also delicately separates the model from the background when shooting close-ups. Neither chromatic aberration nor distortion will be visible in the final images. Videographers will appreciate the ability to turn on the stepless aperture control ring on the lens barrel. The model is compatible with 49 mm filters.
