The camera is automatic. But only in POP mode.

Perhaps this is the most controversial and discussed camera model in recent years. The low price and large zoom attract attention to this model. Reviews, from delight to disappointment. There are no indifferent people. In sunny weather, and in bright light, there is nothing to complain about. As soon as it gets dark, the quality of the photo decreases sharply. And by opening the flash and setting the POP mode, you can shoot and shoot. The quality of photographs will again delight you with rich colors. Successful portraits.
Very good battery. It was tested by the New Year's frosts and did not disappoint. When other brands were completely discharged in the cold, the DSC-H400 did not show the beginning of a discharge. Stabilization, when zoomed in, is good. Easy to set up, down to primitivism. Great sound for video. And the video is decent.
As soon as it gets dark, the quality of the photo decreases significantly. And any increase in brightness does not help. And then, open the flash. And everything is fine again. Without a flash, it’s better not to shoot at dusk.

Promising model

Recommended for landscape photographers, enthusiasts of quality close-up photos. The video mode is perfect for paparazzi. Good for shooting wildlife and urban scenes. For other types of shooting - average quality.
The world's largest (among consumer and professional cameras) optical zoom - 31.5x at 63x zoom, all other models have less optical zoom (but not zoom). At 63x zoom in video mode, the optical zoom reaches 40x.
1. Very low speed. 2. No manual focus. 3. Poor automatic focus. 4. No remote control. 5. Blurry photos in panorama mode. 6. No contrast adjustment. 7. Low resolution when zooming. 8. Pixels visible in low-light areas.

good model, I liked it

I bought this SONY DSC-H400 camera, it’s good, I won't argue. But I used the camera until the first charge, and the USB port on the device itself fell apart. I guess I was unlucky with low-quality parts and assembly. Overall, this camera lives up to its capabilities.
