Immediately, the Sony a7C body camera is indistinguishable from the representatives of the six thousandth league of cropped mirrorless cameras of the Japanese brand — the camera is assembled in a compact body with dimensions of 124x71x60 mm and weighs only 500 g with a small “tail”. It is noteworthy that they managed to place a full-frame image sensor with a resolution of 24 MP in the body of this “baby”.

It was even fixed on a movable stabilizing platform — the camera's matrix stabilization system effectively compensates for up to 5 exposure steps when shooting handheld or in low light conditions. The mirrorless camera shoots bursts of up to 10 fps, records 4K video without cropping at 30 fps, and handles a wide ISO range from 100 to 51200. The camera's focus system combines 693 hybrid autofocus points under the wing, which catch and hold the subject in focus with lightning speed. In addition, the model has acquired a convenient swivel screen, a small OLED viewfinder window, an audio output for headphones and a microphone jack. On a single battery charge brand NP-FZ1000 promised the ability to shoot 740 photos. In the body version, the mirrorless is sold without a complete lens.

Switched to it from a6500. For the a7s I took tamron 24mm 2.8 glass.

I ordered the cheapest one, in English. The official one came, with a Russian.
Size, weight for FF. Matrix, brains from a73. No pentoprism. Incredible video quality 1080 and 4k. No pixel binning, 4k from full sensor, downscale from 6k, no moire. You can upload photos/videos directly to your phone via Wi-Fi 5g. Can work as a webcam. Does not overheat, there is no limit on recording time. The battery will last for 3.5 hours of 4k video. Eye/face autofocus works great, there is tracking of the focused object. In 4k, the screen brightness does not decrease.
It feels more plastic than the a6500, but also lighter. The 6500 has an infrared sensor for the remote control. A7s doesn't have it.

a model with serious flaws

Photosklad - supplier of gray-market photo equipment without warranty in Russia. The site does not state that there is no manufacturer warranty! The camera was imported into Russia unofficially. The box has no seal, and there is no paper manual or Sony warranty card! The battery is completely drained. Charging and turning on the camera to check for the presence of the Russian language in the menu is not allowed without payment. The warranty is only through the Photosklad store via their warranty card. Nowhere on the site does it state that the warranty is not from the MANUFACTURER. It's aimed at fools who believe in a store warranty! The official Sony service center - CopiyaMoscow does not accept such a store warranty.
Cheaper than official dealers with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, by 15,000 rubles.
The camera was not officially imported into Russia. The seal on the box is missing, and there is no paper manual or Sony warranty card! The battery is completely drained. Charging and turning on the camera to check for the Russian language in the menu is not allowed without payment.
Warranty only from Fotossklad store with their warranty card. It's not mentioned anywhere on the website that the warranty is not from the MANUFACTURER.
It's aimed at fools who believe in store warranties! The official Sony service center - KopiyaMoskva does not accept such store warranties. Do not pay online! If you want to take a risk, buy it for pickup and demand a functionality check. Or purchase a used one with an unexpired 3-year warranty.
