Rubber bezels

— thanks to its softness, the rubber bezel gives the device an excellent shock protection. On the other hand, it significantly increases the dimensions (and the weight of the entire device, kinda). Therefore, this feature is an unmistakable sign of a shock-resistant model (see "Features"), created not for compactness, but primarily for resistance to extreme conditions. The main part of the body in such devices is most often made of plastic, less often also made of rubber (see "Body Material (back cover)").
