Mobile Phones UMIDIGI series Bison (protected)
UMIDIGI Bison
Smartphones sealed in three-layer armor for operation in especially difficult environmental conditions. Thanks to the use of multi-layer shockproof cases with additional protective plates, rubberized plugs and shock-resistant glass, UMIDIGI Bison devices are not afraid of water or dirt, neither their own nor others. A typical representative of the Bison series can easily withstand a 30-minute immersion to a depth of one and a half meters, is not afraid of dust and easily withstands being dropped onto a stone floor from a height of 1.8 meters.
As a result, most handsets are IP69 water-resistant, tested to the rigorous military standard MIL-STD-810, and could theoretically go through a SEAL week hell. Additional features of Bison devices are often duplicated from one smartphone to another and include dual GPS, a digital compass, a barometer, an infrared thermometer for non-contact temperature measurement, a couple of dedicated physical buttons to launch some important functions (note: underwater video recording is turned on by default and push-to-talk). And FM radio usually works without headphones and an Internet connection.
As is common with armored smartphones, they are quite large and thick. The thickness of the average Bison tube exceeds 12 mm, and the weight can reach 300 grams, which will not be to the liking of all users. Otherwise, these are classic mid-range Andoid smartphones with Helio P90 / Dimensity 900 caliber processors, a significant amount of RAM (note: at least 4 GB), capacious internal storage, a high-quality 6.5-inch display, NFC, fast charging and a capacious 6150 mAh battery.
