2 SIM card slots

— devices that allow the simultaneous installation of two SIM-cards. Thus, on one phone, you can use two numbers at once — for example, personal and work, or one for calls, and the second for the Internet.

These models can be divided into three main categories. The first is devices with two SIM-slots and a separate slot for a memory card. These allow you to simultaneously use two phone numbers and a removable memory card, but it affects the price and dimensions of the device. Therefore, there is another option — a combined design: the second slot in such phones can be used either for an additional SIM card or a memory card (but not both at the same time). This type allows you to somewhat reduce the cost and size, but kinda creates inconvenience. Both of these options are described in more detail in "2 SIM (SIM + SIM or memory card)" and "2 SIM slots + memory card" respectively; and if you are looking for a “dual-sim” model with support for removable memory cards, it makes sense to use one of these filters.

The third category is gadgets with 2 SIM slots without support of memory cards (a similar format of operation is found, in particular, in the latest generations of Apple smartphones). They are also included in this paragraph, but are not included in the filters separately.

It makes sense to use this filter if you are looking for a device from the third category, or if the presence of a slot for memory card and the format of its interaction with the second SIM-slot does not matter to you.
