If regular Mi smartphones belong to the top level, then models with the T prefix are more likely to fall into the “middle class +” category. For around $500, a potential buyer of the Mi 13T will receive powerful hardware by smartphone standards and an advanced camera, which was developed and honed by specialists from the German brand Leica.

Xiaomi 13T series smartphones are available in two versions: the regular Xiaomi 13T and the improved Xiaomi 13T Pro with a more advanced camera, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 class storage. The younger model has a powerful eight-core Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor. Xiaomi 13T Pro uses a more powerful Dimensity 9200+ chip. The display in both cases is the same: 6.67-inch AMOLED matrix with a resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, HDR10+ support and natural color reproduction. The display surface in both cases is protected by fifth-generation tempered Gorilla Glass.

The devices in the series are photographed using a triple rear camera, which consists of a 50 MP main sensor with optical stabilization, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera. Both smartphones have the same 5000 mAh batteries with support for Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging. The only difference is in the charging power: the Mi 13T comes with a 67 W power supply, while the older Xiaomi 13T Pro model has a charger power of 120 W, and the entire charging process from 0 to 100% takes only 19 minutes. The premium status of the Xiaomi 13T series smartphones is secured by a waterproof IP68 class housing and support for Wi-Fi 7 (in the older Xiaomi 13T Pro model).
