Open Ear headphones (Air Conduction)

 

— a special type of true wireless headphones with an open acoustic design. Unlike earbuds and in-ear models, open-ear headphones do not imply partial or complete closure of the auricles - thus providing a better perception of surrounding sounds. This will come in handy during walks and jogging in the open air. Most often, such headphones have behind-the-ear mounts (see below), the drivers in their design are directed clearly into the ear canals, but are located outside. Passive noise isolation in open-ear headphones is virtually absent, and playing music and conversations on a paired phone can be heard by others - keep this in mind.
