Asus ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI is a high-quality, well-equipped ATX form factor motherboard designed for use with DDR5 memory and Ryzen 7000 series processors (Zen 4 microarchitecture). The model is part of the overclocking ROG Strix lineup, renowned for its increased reliability and advanced overclocking features. Unlike many of its ROG STRIX counterparts, it is built on the mid-range Intel AMD B650 chipset and is positioned as a near-flagship solution for gaming systems based on multi-core Ryzen 7000 processors (Raphael family, Zen 4 architecture).

It incorporates most of the flagship features of the Strix series boards, including a powerful CPU power subsystem (14 phases, VRM heatsink), support for DDR5 RAM, and a PCIe 4.0 bus for M.2 drives. The board also features the signature hardware and software solutions to simplify overclocking, such as AMD Precision Boost Overdrive technology, which enhances processor performance by adjusting the input power limit, and the AMD EXPO feature with integrated memory overclocking profiles, an analogue to Intel XMP.

The board's built-in sound card is equipped with a Savitech SV3H712 amplifier supporting DTS and Sonic Studio III technologies. For network connectivity, the card comes with a high-speed 2.5-gigabit LAN controller from Intel with traffic prioritization, and a dual-band Wi-Fi 6E module supporting Bluetooth 5.2. An ample supply of connectors for installing LED strips, case fans, and liquid cooling systems allows the assembly of a high-performance gaming computer with impressive addressable backlighting and powerful air/water cooling based on this board.
