High-performance wireless home router (routers) of the Wi-Fi 6 standard with native support for seamless TP-LINK OneMesh MESH networks and enhanced WPA3 security protocol. It belongs to the products of 2021 and is a high-speed dual-band home Wi-Fi router of the AX1800 class. Besides urban apartments, it can be used in small private houses and small offices. It is positioned as a mid-range product intended for building high-speed wireless and wired networks with low latency and impressively high data transfer rates.

For creating an incoming connection to the provider's network, the TP-LINK Archer AX23 router is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port (up to 1 Gb/s). The four LAN ports of the same standard allow connecting up to 4 Ethernet devices (PC, Smart TV, multimedia player, NAS, etc.) within a single local network. The router is powered by a high-performance dual-core Qualcomm processor, enabling fast data exchange with a large number of connected client devices with minimal delays. It supports advanced OFDMA technology, 1024-QAM modulation, and the Beamforming function, which directs the signal to specific client devices. The claimed theoretical throughput is up to 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz range and up to 1201 Mbps at the 5 GHz frequency.

Definitely worth the money. It was worse without the mesh, but overall, it's great.

My TP-Link 1043 had been running since 2012) Everything’s fine, it still works, but it’s outdated + we bought a TV and it’s on the 3rd floor, and the signal wasn’t great. I checked the specs and picked up this Archer. Good router, easy to set up, nice-looking, and most importantly—much more powerful and faster. With the 1043 I was getting 15–18 Mbps on the 3rd floor, and with this Archer it went up to 36–40. After I added a repeater, it jumped to 66–71. But there’s one “but.” It reaches the basement about the same as the 1043, but because it’s 5 GHz instead of 2.4, it works worse down there. I don’t really like the TP-Link app. It’s buggy in places and sometimes loses the device on the network. So I set it up through the web interface.
