Model overview based on user reviews
The AMD FX 6-Core series, particularly the FX-6300 model, is praised for its affordable price and value for performance, making it a solid choice for budget builds. Users appreciate its capability to handle multi-threaded tasks effectively, although it may not excel in single-thread performance compared to Intel processors. The processor remains stable with a good cooler, but overclocking can cause high temperatures, requiring additional cooling solutions. While it may not be suitable for modern gaming, it performs well for lightweight gaming, streaming, and general use. The FX-6300 is considered a decent option for those not looking to frequently upgrade and who need a reliable processor for everyday tasks.

I liked the stone, I recommend it for purchase

I got the FX 6300 processor at a discount from Telemart. For its price, it's amazing; it even handled streaming lightweight games and my projects in After Effects. In single-thread, it's not great compared to Intel, but there's overclocking, and in multi-threaded tasks, it performs excellently.

I'm not willing to spend a lot on a PC like those who buy Intel and constantly upgrade. I work and occasionally play games, and this is enough for me. Those YouTubers criticize the FX, although it's a decent processor. Of course, AMD has its flaws, but they can be fixed with overclocking again.
Price, value, performance. It also drives well when the cooler is normal, does not heat up and maintains a stable frequency in the turbo boost.
During overclocking, the bridges and power circuits become very hot. This can be solved by blowing the case a little or using 40mm fans.

Decide for yourself!!!!!
6 cores and 6 threads at a very attractive price. Level 3 cache
Box cooler. When I looked at the CPU temperature while browsing the internet, I was shocked, 62 degrees. Are you kidding me, surfing the internet and the temperature is 62 degrees!!!!! The CPU is way too hot. Its max temperature is 70 and that's not even under any load.
Take it if you need it for simple computer use without modern games.

The best budget model of its time
Cool, quiet, powerful. This is perfect for budget builds for old games and just surfing the Internet.
Not relevant for games in 2019.

More cores for less money

AMD FX processors are like fine wine, they only get better with age. The mid-range FX-6300 has six cores (the junior chips of the 4300 sub-series are quad-core, the older 8300 models are eight-core), but at the same time it costs one and a half times cheaper than the four-thread Core i3-7100.

For parallelizable tasks

Of course, the performance per core of the AMD Piledriver architecture, which debuted back in 2011, is lower than that of the new Intel Kaby Lake. But the extra two cores help a lot in well-parallelized games like Watch Dogs 2, where four threads often cause seconds of freezes that make the gameplay simply unbearable.

An annoying buzz

You can blame the FX-6300 for the noisy cooler that comes in the kit (the new AMD Ryzen processors are already equipped with much better coolers). In addition, the FX-6300 does not have an integrated graphics accelerator (not all AM3+ motherboards have a chipset with integrated graphics). But all this is forgivable, since the AMD FX-6300 is still one of the best options in terms of price and number of cores.
