Using the PCIe 4.0 system bus frees up your hands when designing a disk subsystem, which allows you to install a fast reactive SSD drive that speeds up the loading of HD textures from shared memory into the video card memory. The Asus PRIME B650-PLUS motherboard has a slot configuration that allows you to install a pair of M.2 SSDs and four SATA3 drives. It also includes an integrated RAID controller that allows you to combine all drives into one disk array. Other advantages of the device include support for the USB-C 3.2 gen2 interface, a 2.5 Gb / s network controller, a built-in TPM connector, LED strip connectors, reinforced video card slots and additional M.2 zone cooling. With all that said, the Asus PRIME A620M-A will look just as appropriate in a modern workstation as it does in a fairly powerful water-cooled gaming PC with addressable backlighting. |
