One of the relatively affordable versions of high-end motherboards in 2020 based on the top Intel Z490 chipset. Fully compatible with 10th generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron processors (Comet Lake microarchitecture). Designed to assemble top-level performant gaming configurations, including available multiGPU systems using Nvidia 2-Way SLI or AMD 3-Way CrossFireX technologies.
Thanks to the support of a full range of overclocking functions, it will be of interest to economical enthusiasts who are used to getting maximum performance by fine-tuning the parameters of the components manually. Thanks to the 14-phase (12+2) power subsystem, the Asus PRIME Z490-A motherboard is suitable for long-term operation of the system in significant overclocking mode (without extreme voltage increases). Supports two high-speed M.2 SSD drives and up to six SATA3 devices. Thanks to four DDR4 slots, you can install up to 128 GB of RAM (4x32 GB), which is quite enough for any current/future games and professional tasks. An Intel I225-V controller is available to quickly handle heavy network traffic.
