Compact and affordable gaming ATX motherboard model from 2021 featuring an AMD AM4 CPU socket and a mid-range AMD B450 chipset. It is positioned as an entry-level model within the popular Asus The Ultimate Force product family, aimed at users who prefer enhanced reliability and durability at a reasonable cost. The Asus TUF GAMING B450M-PLUS II motherboard fully supports the installation of 4/6/8/12/16-core Ryzen 2000/3000/5000 processors (Vermeer/Matisse cores – 7 nm or Pinnacle Ridge 12 nm) and hybrid Ryzen 2000/3000/4000/5000 APUs with integrated AMD Radeon Vega graphics (Raven Ridge/Pinnacle Ridge – 12 nm, Cezanne/Renoir – 7 nm).
Supports a large amount of DDR4 RAM (up to 128 GB at frequencies up to 4400 MHz), which is more than sufficient for everyday use, gaming, and the absolute majority of professional resource-intensive tasks. Equipped with a reliable digital 6-phase power subsystem. Network communications are provided by the GbE LAN controller Realtek RTL8111H. For high-performance NVMe SSDs, one M.2 port (PCI-E Gen3 x4) is provided.
