Despite the fact that products from the TUF series belong more to the middle class, this model is an excellent example of a universal gaming monitor that fully complies with all the fashion trends of recent years, and practically does not lag behind Asus ROG hi-end monitors in terms of its functionality. The massive 27-inch Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQ1A monitor is built on a high-end 10-bit IPS matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, features reference color reproduction and simultaneous AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible certification.

With a fast response time of 1ms (using MRTP technology) and an increased refresh rate of up to 170Hz, this model delivers industry-leading clarity and fluidity in any fast-paced game that requires fast response. Additional features of the monitor include support for HDR10 video formats, built-in speakers and a proprietary software package in which the user can add a timer and FPS counter to the game overlay, fix the crosshair in the center of the screen, or highlight especially dark areas of the image using the Shadow Boost feature. Unlike many of its TUF counterparts, this model is capable of displaying 96% of the DCI-P3 color gamut or 130% of the sRGB color space, making it a useful tool for basic photo editing, coloring and other visual content work.

I recommend buying it.
4 February 2021
I was choosing a monitor for a long time. I almost chose Acer, but when I saw that the power supply was built-in, I immediately changed my mind (rare, but sometimes power supplies fail, and I don't want to carry the whole panel). Since this exact model was not in the e-katalog search engine, I mentally agreed on the VG27QA model (without the end). And I bought thinking it was the one, at DNS on sale for 27,800. But how surprised I was that this model supports 10 bits, HDR, and 130% sRGB coverage for that price, I was very pleasantly surprised.
At DNS, there were LG 850s next to it. I liked the color rendition of this one more.
The color gamut is simply magnificent.
HDR - 10.
No backlight bleed (maybe I got lucky, but it's very, very minimal).
The monitor's body is well-assembled, without creaks and gaps.
The setup is simple and understandable in Russian.
There's no eye-burning brightness like the previous model VG27AQ.
External power supply.
Flat (an advantage for me).
Lack of USB (for some, it may not be critical for me).
