High impedance studio semi-open on-ear headphones. They have a low level of intrinsic harmonic distortion, which is normalized as <0.2%. Golden mean
The holy trinity from Beyerdynamic (we are talking about the 770, 880 and 990 Pro models) appeared on store shelves almost a hundred years ago and stood out with characteristics close to electrostatic headphones. A few decades later, all three models are actively sold and are considered classic mid-range monitor headphones. The semi-open 880 Pro sits in between the closed 770 Pro and the open 990 Pro. That is, they have soundproofing, but it is better not to go down the subway with them. They are geared more towards home or studio use where there is little ambient sound but little isolation is required.
