Model LS1018LN differs from model LS1018L in that it takes into account the new requirements for IEC/EN/AS/NZS 62841 safety standards

A miter saw designed for cutting wood and plastic workpieces in a workshop or on construction sites. Equipped with a 4300 rpm electric motor with a soft start system and a brake that ensures quick stopping of the disc. The strong and rigid frame, cast from aluminum alloy, and the rotary table with a clear graduated scale allow precise adjustment of the machine. The table rotates 60° to the right and 47° to the left, and the head tilts 45° to both sides.

For working with long workpieces, special supports are provided, which are included in the kit. The spindle of the Makita LS1018LN miter saw can be used to install discs with a diameter of 260 mm and a mounting hole of 30 mm. When using such equipment, the maximum cutting depth reaches 91 mm. The broaching system allows you to cut workpieces up to 305 mm wide in one movement. The laser marker provides precise “aiming” when making cuts. The kit includes a fabric dust collector, instead of which you can connect a vacuum cleaner to collect dust and sawdust.
