Good to know:

Dust protection system
To combat dust, Sony has created a unique double protection system. This system combines a protective coating on your DSLR's CCD sensor that keeps dust out, and a mechanism that gently shakes the sensor when the camera is turned off to remove any dust trapped in the body.

Optical viewfinder
The optical viewfinder is used in bright sunlight or in poor lighting conditions where it is difficult to see the LCD monitor. It can also be used in place of the LCD to reduce power consumption.

Dynamic Range Optimizer
Analyzes the image in real time and adjusts brightness and contrast for well-exposed backlit scenes: selectable auto or manual modes

SteadyShot INSIDE
Sony's unique stabilization technology for Handycam camcorders, Cyber-shot digital cameras and DSLRs uses a shake detection method (through gyro sensors). The result (blur reduction) is equally good on all cameras, but each of them has a slightly different technology.

BRAVIA Sync technology allows you to control image playback functions with your BRAVIA TV remote control
