The base unit (router) of a high-speed dual-band wireless MESH system with support for high-speed seamless Wi-Fi 6 network, which is optimized to serve a significant number of active wireless devices. It is additionally equipped with a built-in 3G/4G(LTE) Cat.6 modem with a nanoSIM-card receiver and two internal LTE antennas. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the upper price category in 2022, designed to equip multi-room apartments, spacious cottages and small offices.
Thanks to the 3G / 4G (LTE) modem, the TP-LINK Deco X20-4G router creates / maintains a wireless network on objects that do not have the possibility of a cable connection. The second use case involves an incoming cable connection to the provider's network via the Gigabit Ethernet WAN port. In this case, the 3G/4G(LTE) modem can play the role of a reserve that comes into action in case of problems on the Ethernet line (in case of a weak cellular network signal, the situation can be improved by connecting two external SMA antennas). OFDMA technology, 1024-QAM modulation and MU-MIMO 2x2 multi-channel transmission function are supported to achieve high data transmission speed of the wireless network.
