Dust resistance in most models is indicated at level 6 (full dust protection), but in some cases it may not be specified (“IPX7”); see "Protection Level (IP)" for details.Liquid ingress protection level 7 means that the device is able to endure short-term (up to half an hour) dives under water to a shallow depth (up to 1 m). Thus, such phones can be safely used in any bad weather and even kept with you while swimming. But diving with such a device is not recommended, and you cannot use any of its features under water.
