However, it does not support audio transmission.

It's worth noting that component connectors are rarely found on computer graphics cards but are quite popular in video equipment — both modern and outdated. Therefore, it makes sense to specifically look for a monitor with this input if its use will not be limited to a computer (or if the screen is initially needed for an external video device — TV tuner, Blu-ray player, information system, etc.).
