RGB backlight

— multi-colour backlight system built into the frame and/or back of the monitor. It performs mainly a decorative function, giving the monitor an original appearance; this is especially appreciated by enthusiast gamers and fans of external PC tuning. However, this feature also has a practical application: in some monitors, the backlight is able to adapt to the current image on the screen, improving the overall impression of the picture. Any RGB backlight allows you to at least choose the shade of the glow, and in advanced systems synchronization with other PC components can also be provided (see "Light synchronization").
