Coaxial output

— output for digital audio signal transmission to external devices; the monitor itself can receive this signal, for example, via HDMI. The coaxial connector is almost never used in computer technology, but it can be useful for connecting some audio devices, including high-end ones — amplifiers, home theaters, etc. Thus, this feature is found mainly among LCD panels.

The bandwidth of the coaxial output allows you to transmit multi-channel audio over single cable. At the same time, we note that RCA connectors can be used for connection, as in some analogue interfaces (composite, component); however, coaxial connection requires special shielded cable to prevent interference.
