— a technology used in NVIDIA video cards and designed to automatically adjust the monitor's frame rate to the frame rate of the signal from the graphics card.Modern monitors can support fairly high frame rate, which even advanced video cards do not always reach. This is especially pronounced in modern computer games with “heavy” graphics: there, the actual frame rate can generally change depending on what is currently on the screen and what load the graphics card is working with. And the mismatch between the graphics card and the monitor in terms of refresh rate leads to image degradation and the appearance of artifacts, especially in dynamic scenes. To avoid this, G-Sync technology is used: it allows you to adjust the monitor to the frame rate of the incoming signal.
Of course, to use this feature, you will need not only monitor, but also an NVIDIA graphics card with G-Sync support. It is also worth noting that in this case, support for the original G-Sync technology, which was originally incorporated during production, is implied. Support for the more advanced G-Sync Ultimate, as well as G-Sync Compatible compliance, are listed separately (see related paragraphs).
