TVs with recording functions
TV recording
— the ability to record TV programs watched on a TV to an external USB drive (for example, a USB flash drive); some models are also capable of saving material to their own built-in drive. The main convenience of this feature is obvious: the recorded material can be shown to those who did not have time to watch broadcast, save it for re-viewing, etc. In addition, in many TVs, the built-in recorder is also capable of operating in Time Shift mode: if you need to leave the room, you can “pause the broadcast”, and the TV will start recording it, so upon returning, you can continue watching from the point at which it was interrupted. Note that in high-end Smart TVs (see above), the ability to record TV programs may either be assumed by default or depend on the installed software. Therefore, for such models, this feature may not be indicated in the specifications, although in fact it is available.clear | Save List |
