Flagship gaming keyboards, which, according to the idea of Asus, should impose serious competition to esports peripherals from Razer, Logitech, HyperX and SteelSeries. We can safely say that the Asus ROG Strix keyboards set high standards on absolutely all fronts ― from a great build with chic ergonomics to the implementation of switches, lighting and additional equipment.
Since this series is relatively new, there are not so many models in it, and it does not have any memorable chips yet. The bulk of the models are modifications of the old-school ROG Strix Scope keyboard released in 2019, which turned out to have a fairly long list of advantages and a minimum of points in the "disadvantages" column. In her case, the company's engineers tried to make an perfect game "mechanics", which may not strike the imagination with some unusual chips, but at the same time it is made so conveniently and thoughtfully that you will not want to play on anything else after it. Judging by the enthusiastic assessments of the press and users, it turned out great.
Now about the modifications. So, the Asus ROG Strix Scope TKL Deluxe model boasts a shortened tournament case and a handstand, in the ROG Strix Scope RX mechanical switches were replaced with optical-mechanical ones, and in the ROG Strix Scope PBT model, the layout and size of the keys were adjusted for shooters a la CS:GO, Apex Legends and COD. Depending on the frequency of use, the keycaps in Scope PBT are coloured grey, black and red, and the space bar, left Shift and Ctrl have become longer, making them easier to find during a tense firefight.
