Camera Lenses Sigma series Contemporary (functional) for camera
Sigma Contemporary: under the umbrella of accessibility
C stands for Contemporary, which means "Modernity" in English. Group C lenses from the Sigma model range are addressed to amateur photographers and are sharpened for everyday types of shooting along with travel photography. These are light and compact models with standard optical properties at an affordable price.
Zoom lenses from the Contemporary league cover the most common focal length ranges. Their luminosity is often low and "floating", i.e. changes to a darker side depending on the degree of approximation. The benefit of compensating for its possible drawback is the optical stabilization system, which is ubiquitous in Sigma C lenses with a variable set of focal lengths.
Zoom lenses form the majority of the inexpensive Sigma Contemporary series. |
There are also a few exhibits with a fixed focal length in the Contemporary family. Moreover, some of them can boast of a high aperture of f / 1.4. But this is rather an exception to the rule, because. in general, the fixes of the C series are more "darker". The lenses of the line are available in versions for all common SLR and mirrorless systems, both with cropped image sensors and full-frame sensors.
