For a wired connection, one or another type of USB connector is most often used, less often — PS/2 (see "Connection interface"). Anyway, purely wired mice are much cheaper than their wireless counterparts, and their operating time is practically unlimited — it does not depend on the charge of the battery / batteries. On the other hand, the wire limits the freedom of movement and can create some inconvenience, getting tangled under the arms. As for solutions with a combined connection, they are quite expensive, but they are as versatile as possible: you can choose the connection format at your discretion, depending on the situation. For example, most of the time such a mouse can be used in a wireless format, and when the charge is exhausted, it can be connected to a USB port and continue working while simultaneously charging the battery.
