It seems like a top for your pennies! Abo is a miracle alternative to 3600. Cold, in games 44-65tdp and grits with a boxed cooler no more than 55-60 degrees. This guy fired up without any problems out of the box on the B450M Tuf Gaming pro2. I bought the motherboard and CPU at Enko, the motherboard was flashed for the 5000 series (it was indicated on the box, next to the 3000 series mark there was another sticker for the 5000 series). Out of the box, the CPU worked at 4.0 frequencies. With the help of Ryzen Master, the CPU was overclocked to 4500 without any problems, which took about 15 minutes. When cooled with the stock cooler, the temperatures at average loads are ~75-80 (if you plan productive work with 3D, you should get a better cooler). I use 3600 CL16 RAM from Kingston. As I expected, excellent performance even with modern games and 3D software. For rendering, a more powerful cooling system is needed. Simply outstanding integrated graphics performance. Based on YouTube tests, much worse was expected, but with Crucial 3200 CL16 it delivers ultra settings in Far Cry 5. Overclocking RAM to 4533MHz and the integrated graphics to 2300 gives a huge boost, around 30% FPS. Sufficient for both work and gaming (from The Witcher 3 to Cyberpunk, albeit on low-medium or solid medium settings but with Fidelity on quality). P.S. The TDP is very misleading; without good airflow, be prepared for shutdowns due to temperature sensors as they can easily overheat on the stock cooler. Floating frequency
The AMD Ryzen 5 5500GT is an intermediate option between the Ryzen 5500 and 5600G models. Its base frequency is 3.6 GHz, but in practice, the processor almost never works at this level. In the Precision Boost auto-overclocking mode, the frequency can reach 4.4 GHz, and the exact value depends on the level of multi-threading of the load and the use of the FPU floating-point unit (AVX2).

The processor is equipped with six Zen 3 architecture cores, supports twelve SMT threads and has a third-level cache of 16 MB. Additionally, it has a built-in Radeon Vega 7 graphics accelerator, where the number 7 indicates the number of clusters of GCN 5 graphics microcores. Integrated graphics, like any iGPU, are highly dependent on the speed of RAM, but support for dual-channel DDR4 up to 4266 MHz allows you to minimize this factor.
Bottleneck
When upgrading to a discrete graphics card, the PCI-Express 3.0 x8 bus may become a limiting factor. The performance of graphics cards with a PCIe Gen4 interface may decrease by 5-20% in games, and in video editing tasks, the slowdown may reach two times. The processor emits a moderate 65 W of heat, but locally it can heat up quite strongly, so instead of a standard cooler, it is advisable to use at least a compact tower cooling system.
