Model overview based on user reviews
The Apple iPhone 15 512 GB is a standout smartphone, particularly noted for its excellent camera quality, which delivers outstanding photos and videos, making it ideal for photography enthusiasts. The phone's great sound quality from its external speakers ensures a rich audio experience. Its lightweight design and comfortable body make it easy to handle, even without a case. Users appreciate the long battery life, lasting almost two days with regular use, and the inclusion of a Type-C port for connectivity. However, the display's 60Hz refresh rate is seen as outdated, although the overall display quality remains high. Sound through headphones is considered mediocre, but the external speakers compensate with their superior performance. Additionally, the Dynamic Island feature can slightly obstruct widescreen video viewing in horizontal mode, yet the phone's overall design remains user-friendly.

Great phone
10 February 2024
The price-quality ratio is worth it, one of the best phones for its price at this time. The only problem when purchasing is choosing the color, as they are all cool. If possible, take a look at the different colors in various stores.
1. Camera: Both photos and videos are simply excellent.
2. Battery lasts almost two days with my usage.
3. Weight: It's really convenient when a phone is lightweight, especially when it's large.
4. Comfortable body, convenient to hold without a case.
5. Support.
They will say why did you buy an iPhone and not a Samsung. )

it's okay, but the bezels are a bit wide, and 60Hz seems strange in 2024, but the sound and camera are top-notch.

The phone really matches its price.
5 December 2023
The phone is really superb. In my opinion, among all the iPhones, this model truly justifies its price. All previous models, like the iPhone 13 and 14, couldn't boast the same price-quality ratio at the time of their release. The display, external speaker sound, overall performance, etc., are, in my opinion, top-notch. The only downside is the 60 Hz.
External speakers (sound is loud and voluminous, display, Type-C, cameras
60 Hz (not critical, animations still look quite smooth, but 90 Hz wouldn't hurt), Sound through headphones is rather mediocre (subjectively, I tested it with my Sony wh-1000xm4), Dynamic Island in a horizontal position slightly obstructs viewing widescreen videos.

Popular questions

Will the iPhone 15 battery last for a full active day?

Yes, with mixed usage, the smartphone is confidently capable of lasting a full day. In a composite active-use test, it lasted 13 hours and 20 minutes — this is not continuous screen-on time, but a combination of different workloads. One buyer reports nearly two days of use, but that is the result of their personal usage pattern.Source:Expert reviewsUser Reviews

Will a 60 Hz screen refresh rate be a noticeable limitation?

Yes, especially if you are used to a display with a higher refresh rate. iOS animations look smooth thanks to the panel’s fast response time, but scrolling is still not as smooth as on displays with a higher refresh rate. Buyers also cite 60 Hz as the main compromise of this model, although some consider it insignificant.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviewsUser Reviews

How does the main camera of the iPhone 15 take photos?

The main camera captures detailed, stable photos both in daylight and in low-light conditions. By default, photos are saved at a resolution of 24 MP, delivering good sharpness, a wide dynamic range, and natural colors. At night, the camera preserves details and handles bright light sources carefully, but the automatic Night mode does not always activate predictably.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviews

Is a separate adapter required for fast charging the iPhone 15?

Yes, the power adapter is not included, so you will need to use your own USB Power Delivery adapter or purchase one separately. The smartphone accepts up to 20 W, while a full charging cycle takes approximately 1 hour 50 minutes in practice. A USB-C to USB-C cable is already included in the box.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviews

Can the storage capacity of the base iPhone 15 be increased from 128 GB?

No, the iPhone 15 does not support memory cards, so you won’t be able to expand the storage after purchase. In addition to the base 128 GB version, 256 GB and 512 GB options are available. If you plan to store many apps and videos, it’s best to choose the required capacity right away.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviews

Does the iPhone 15 have true 2x optical zoom?

No, the iPhone 15 does not have a separate telephoto lens. The 2x mode is produced by the main camera using the central area of the 48-megapixel sensor, while photos are saved at a resolution of 12 MP. In good lighting, the level of detail is decent, but this is not a separate optical camera.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviews

Did wired file transfer become faster after switching to USB-C?

No, the connector itself has changed, but data transfer is limited to USB 2.0 speeds — theoretically up to 480 Mbps. The port can still be used to connect storage devices, a keyboard, and other USB devices. DisplayPort Alt Mode video output is also supported.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviews

Is the iPhone 15 suitable for demanding games?

Yes, but under sustained graphics-intensive workloads, the performance headroom decreases. The interface remains fast and smooth, and no noticeable stuttering occurred after more than an hour of playing Genshin Impact. Under stress, graphics performance dropped by almost half, although the body remained warm but not scorching.Source:Expert reviews
