A large basic iPhone from Apple's 2024 model portfolio. The Plus version differs from the regular 16th model in its larger screen size - the Super Retina XDR panel extends diagonally by 6.7 inches, and the picture on it is broadcast in a maximum resolution of 2796x1290 pixels. The display still has a dynamic Dynamic Island cutout for the front camera lens and Face ID facial unlocking system sensors.

It can expand, collapse and display various notifications on the screen. At the heart of the smartphone is the proprietary six-core Apple A18 processor, which is built on a 3-nanometer process technology and contains a separate neural computing module. With the help of this unit, visual search through the camera and a set of generative AI functions Apple Intelligence are optimized.

The rear camera of the Apple iPhone 16 Plus 128 GB consists of a 48 MP leading image sensor and a 12 MP ultra-wide. It should be noted that the lenses are now placed one above the other in a vertical plane - now the basic iPhones support spatial video recording, which is supposed to be viewed using the Vision Pro headset. Among other innovations, the model has acquired Action Button and Camera Control (with a touch surface). In addition, the smartphone has increased the power of wireless charging - up to 25 W via MagSafe and up to 15 W according to the Qi2 standard.
