Despite the number 11 in its name, this model is essentially a direct successor to the iPhone XR. The main differences lie in the cameras, which are now dual (both main and front); in the processor, which, according to test results, has become at least 50% more powerful; and in the battery with a larger capacity. As for functionality, although the main focus on photo and video shooting was made in the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max models, the basic iPhone 11 also received many improvements regarding photos and videos.
For example, a night mode was introduced, with noticeably better efficiency compared to competitors (even compared to Samsung S10), as well as video recording in HDR at 60 fps. One lens of the main camera is wide-angle, and the other is ultra-wide-angle. Continuing the comparison with the iPhone XR, it should be noted that the new device received water resistance according to the IP68 standard and can be submerged in water up to 2m (the predecessor was limited to 1.5m).
The color palette of the body has been updated, both in terms of composition and the richness of shades; now there are 6: black, silver, red, purple, yellow, green. The back cover remains glossy (for the 11 Pro and Max, it is matte). The Apple logo has been moved to the center of this cover, and the iPhone inscription has been removed entirely. The current version of iPhone 11 for the European market is (nano+eSIM). There is a model with 2 SIM cards (nano+nano), targeted at the Chinese market. I bought this device to replace my old phone, and I had two Android devices in my hands (unfortunately not pure Android but with a branded shell) and this Apple. Ultimately, in terms of comfort of use and the least number of seriously annoying shortcomings, my final choice still fell on the iPhone 11. As we know, there are NO perfect devices. And although I've gathered a decent amount of cons on this device, still compared to the cons and inconveniences I encountered on another top Android device, there were more, and they were more critical for me personally than those listed for this device. I personally know for sure that sooner or later I will drop the phone, so I immediately bought a case for it (Spigen Liquid Air Armor, I like this line of theirs) and a protective screen. The case adds about 1 cm in total width, of course, you can get something simpler, but from my personal experience, this case protects well when dropped, and I personally will feel calmer if something breaks: I did everything I could and protected it as much as I could, but alas, fate decided otherwise. I bought the phone at the start of sales in Frankfurt, and at the moment I can safely say that I enjoy using it, it's one of those cases when it's just nice to use the device every day. – 2 days of battery life with "moderate" use, 4-5 hours of screen time in total, by the evening of the second day there is still 20% left – screen can be activated with a short press, very convenient for viewing all notifications – fast FaceID operation even in the dark – the notch is there and it used to bother me in photos, but in actual use, as this is my first phone with such a screen flaw, I got used to it extremely quickly and, as it turns out, it doesn't really bother me. As they say, don't judge by the photos, try it out. Though when watching YouTube, it takes up a bit of space – video recording in 4k 60fps on both cameras – wide-angle camera, almost like a fisheye, allows you to take interesting shots – the earpiece speaker is very loud, and the main one too, like a portable speaker, it blares throughout the room if set to maximum volume – iOS 13 and all its features and perks, and for those who like this ecosystem and its interface – glossy glass back panel (I got it in black), a magnet for all kinds of fingerprints and dirt, it looks horrible, too lazy to constantly wipe it, can be fixed with a case – wide bezel – gap between the screen and glass, I don’t know about others but it seems to me it's there and it's especially noticeable in the notch area – 64 GB in the minimum config is extremely low for recording 4k 60 fps, memory fills up instantly, take note when buying if you plan to shoot video – the same damn iTunes which doesn’t work on Windows, and getting freshly shot 4k 60 fps videos out is impossible, have to use iTools – protruding camera even in a case, plus dust gathers around the edges as if smeared with something – lack of 2x zoom – weak vibration motor – quality of wide-angle shooting is very mediocre, especially when shooting video in low light, it's obvious there's no stabilization and there's a huge amount of noise – stingily low-power charger included at 1A with which the phone charges like a snail, can be fixed with any normal charger at 2A or more, in my case it's Anker – weight, as the phone is quite heavy due to the metal body base, almost 200 grams – price of 800 euros for Europe and even higher for our country – iOS that gives nightmares with its quirks and usability  Maksim O: use Apple iPhone 11 64GB few months |

The first iPhone in my life. Many tried to dissuade me from this long-awaited purchase, suggesting a budget Honor or Samsung instead, but I decided to splurge on the iPhone 11. What can I say - it's a wonderful device. I switched to the iPhone from a Samsung A50, which started glitching after a week or two of use, despite being bought from the original store. I struggled with the Samsung for exactly a year and then decided to fulfill my long-standing dream by buying an iPhone. I've been using it for just under a month, and I'm still amazed by its quick and precise performance. I have no complaints about the camera or the phone's performance - everything is simply perfect. I was choosing between the 11 and 12 for a long time but ultimately realized that I preferred the design of the 11, and the difference between the two models is minimal, both in the camera and performance. The size is convenient - the phone is not small, but you can't call it large either, it fits well in the hand, although I definitely recommend getting a case because the back panel is quite slippery. Camera, processor, appearance, excellent battery (holds charge easily from eight in the morning to nine or ten in the evening, and if you charge with the original adapter for two thousand, it charges to 80% in 15-20 minutes, to 100% in 25-30 minutes). The legend of the "iPhone discharging in the cold" is just a myth invented by competitors. I don't know about previous models, but with the 11, I used it in both 0 degrees and -25, everything works well, no glitches, the charge holds as it does in a warm room, it doesn't turn off. Fans of bezel-less screens might find it challenging to get used to this model, as it features the famous iPhone "notch" and rather wide side edges.
