Pros
Cons
My first SLR, but in total for me this is the third Canon. I read a lot about the advantages of SLR cameras, saw enough photos on the net and decided to buy an amateur mid-level model. a 24-megapixel sensor of the latest generation and the newest Digic 6 processor. The images are highly detailed and of impeccable quality. There's nothing to find fault with. There's no brightness noise up to 1600, and no color noise up to 3200 ISO. The camera's autofocus is excellent, and with the 18-135mm IS STM lens, the focusing speed is top-notch. There are lots of settings that change the focusing principle. I really liked the tracking autofocus; I took photos at the rink, and the shots were superb. After reading about the sluggishness of DSLRs in Live View mode, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the 760D in this mode. The touch-sensitive rotating rear screen is large, bright, and has a high resolution. It's convenient for browsing and viewing/zooming photos, showing the camera a focus point, turning the flash on/off. The black-and-white display on the top panel allows you to control most of the main shooting parameters. You can turn off the big main display, which noticeably extends battery life. It can shoot high-quality video with a resolution of 1920 by 1080. It's convenient to use the built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. I easily copied photos to my laptop and controlled the camera from my smartphone – I took a selfie at 6000x4000 pixels ))) Dimensions and weight sometimes strain. It sits comfortably in the hands, but it is felt in a backpack or bag. use Canon EOS 760D body month or more |
I bought the camera for photographing products in my small online store. The objects for shooting are specific, and not everything can be photographed in studio conditions, so I chose the camera with what is called "with a margin." High quality pictures. The 24-megapixel footage shot in the studio looks very convincing. For the web, their quality is more than enough. The camera shows its best qualities when shooting outdoors, when there are difficulties with additional artificial lighting. High resolution allows you to subsequently ruthlessly crop the picture without much loss of clarity. Good dynamic range makes it possible to capture details in the shadowy areas of the frame. Focusing works clearly and almost flawlessly, and the STM kit lens works silently. I tried to take HDR pictures and the bracketing settings were pleasantly pleased. It is also worth mentioning practical control, the presence of a programmable button, a touch-sensitive swivel rear screen and a small window for a service monochrome screen on the top of the case. All these moments make working with the camera surprisingly enjoyable. Remote control of the camera via wifi is unstable. Sometimes for 20-30 minutes everything works without failures, and sometimes the connection falls off almost immediately. Usually you can restore the connection without any problems, but there was also a situation when you had to restart your smartphone. I also caught a serious glitch in LiveVeiw mode. The camera hung tightly and only juggling the battery helped. |
This is a great model for enthusiasts and beginner photographers - like I was when I bought a camera 2 years ago. I recommend the full-frame 6D. The camera is great; after a compact camera, paired with a prime lens, the artistic quality of photos was impressive. Now I’m moving to a full-frame. I've outgrown it. 24MP - photo quality is superb. Rotatable display Live View (but a bit slow) Wi-Fi - sooo convenient! ISO - noise becomes very noticeable very quickly in low light. A cropped sensor increases the focal length of lenses. Live view works verrry slowly. |
