Due to the Vortex Control Notches, this fan is capable of producing an unusually low noise output of just 19.8 dB(A). Thanks to the Smooth Commutation Drive 2, the NF-P12 redux-1300 is kitted out with the newest drive system produced at Noctua. Unwanted movements produced due to centripetal force are drastically reduced and this aids in making the fan surprisingly quiet during operation.
