High-precision, programmable wired gaming mouse with top-of-the-line Razer Focus+ optical sensor and spectacular controllable RGB lighting. It is an improved version of the popular Razer DeathAdder model from which it differs with resolution switching buttons, an improved sensor, optical switches and built-in memory. It is positioned as a product of the upper part of the middle price category of the 2020 model year, designed for both hardcore gamers and e-sports players, and for ordinary computer gamers who prefer the most convenient and functional accessories.
The ergonomic shape of the lightweight body of the Razer DeathAdder V2 is fully inherited from the first generation DeathAdder. Perfect for claw grip and fingertip work. High-quality matte plastic has a slightly rough to the touch coating that resists dirt and is easy to clean. Long (2.1 m), lightweight and super soft, Razer's signature Speedflex cable is wrapped in a durable nylon braid for a wireless feel. There is a rubber tie that allows you to adjust the length of the cable and a cap to protect the USB connector from dust. The Razer Focus+ Optical Sensor (PixArt PMW3399) provides ultra-high cursor positioning accuracy. It works even with accelerations up to 50G and the sharpest movements at speeds up to 16.5 m/s.

The mouse is good, but not for CPS. And here I want to mention that I personally had a bug at my old bakery: if both the wallpaper engine and Razer synapse were running at the same time, the mouse started clicking endlessly, and I had to restart Windows. Magnificent sensor Excellent shape, suitable for any grip, but most comfortable with a hybrid palm and claw grip Very pleasant plastic Response Cable Let it be idiocy, but the BACKLIGHT Brand software Wheel Build quality and overall material quality Side inserts are much better than most competitors Personally, my right mouse button has a slight wobble, but it's not a big deal. The price, in my personal opinion, is justified. If you are a fan of cubes, you need to understand that the CPS here is, to put it mildly, not the best. The click feels like you put a spring on sand and pressed it. Too soft, but if you use it for drag-clicking - it's okay. use Razer DeathAdder V2 more than year |
I bought it for the first time - there was a huge gap in the PCM. I handed it in, bought it a second time, there is a slight play in the paintwork, I’m too lazy to hand it in, because it doesn’t interfere with the game. Otherwise the mouse is excellent, but the quality and randomness of the build was disappointing. Legendary shape, top sensor Build quality |
Good old Death adder) The shape worked great for me, accurate sensor, build quality No |
Return of the legend
The once most popular gaming mouse entered the market back in 2006 and gave rise to a whole series. In fact, over the course of 15 years, Razer has released about 20 different variations of the DeathAdder in an effort to preserve everything that gamers loved it for. And loved her for the reference combination of ergonomics, responsiveness and a well-acting click, which enthralled players around the world.
Razer Focus+ flagship sensor
So what has improved? In fact, a lot of things, from design and shape to sensor and additional features. Now the parade is ruled by an updated Razer Focus+ sensor, which is actually a custom version of the PixArt PMW3399. And what can I say, the top model, and its speed and sensitivity go beyond human capabilities. Sensitivity switches and body illumination appeared. You can bind macros to the side buttons or reassign some keys, for example, “throw a grenade” and “use” instead of the traditional Q and E shooters. For such witchcraft, there is a very convenient and concise Razer Synapse application, which Razer has long licked and brought to mind .
Almost perfect ergonomics
Now about convenience. The case is made of rough matte plastic, which perfectly reduces slip. Yes, and it will wear out for a long time. On the sides there are classic textured rubber pads, like the original DeathAdder. In general, the mouse turned out to be really comfortable, with excellent balance and ergonomics. It lies confidently in the hand, does not slip out in battle, the sensor “does not fall through”. Of the minuses, we note the random backlash of the buttons — someone has a little backlash on the left key, someone on the right, the rest are all okay. Sometimes complain about the quality of the wheel, but the test model had no problems with it.
