Small-sized and efficient dual-band Wi-Fi repeater (signal amplifier) class AC750 with support for Wi-Fi 5 networks. It features an original case design, which has a built-in power plug for connecting to a household power outlet. It is used to expand the area of wireless Wi-Fi coverage in multi-room apartments and large private houses, i.e. in situations where, due to significant distances or multiple obstacles, the transceiver power of the main wireless router is not enough.

In addition, the TP-LINK RE205 can operate as an access point with an incoming connection via the Fast Ethernet LAN port (up to 100 Mbps). The device is equipped with two external antennas with a gain of 5 dBi. The manufacturer declares a theoretical connection speed of up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and up to 433 Mbps in the 5 GHz band. The real performance of the repeater is sufficient for comfortable web surfing, participation in multi-user video conferences, receiving high-definition IPTV broadcasts, cloud service clients, seamless gaming and other home / office tasks. The LED indicator makes it possible to quickly assess the quality of reception and choose the best place to place the device.

It's not worth buying.

Laptops categorically refuse to connect to it, even after installing the latest firmware.
Beautiful, dual-band, multi-mode. Works well on 2.4 GHz.
5 GHz band - constant glitches with connecting laptops. A router from another brand connects them (laptops) immediately and permanently.
