The TP-LINK RE550 repeater can connect to the main router via Wi-Fi or using the built-in Gigabit Ethernet port (both LAN and WAN can work depending on the settings).

With a powerful hardware platform, support for MU-MIMO 3x3 multi-streaming, and three external antennas, this model delivers up to 600/1300 Mbps (2.4/5 GHz) theoretical throughput.
