A compact repeater from TP-LINK designed to expand the coverage of an existing wireless network. Inside the case there is an amplifier itself and a power supply; for operation, the device simply needs to be plugged into a power outlet. An interesting addition is the ability to use it as a wireless adapter - for this, the model is equipped with an Ethernet connector. Stylish small

The design of the TP-LINK TL-WA850RE is characterized by simplicity and a minimum of elements. Smooth lines and a snow-white case, pleases the general trend of increasing attention to the design of the case from the manufacturers of network equipment, now these are not rectangular angular bricks. I was also pleased with a nice indicator ring, which not only helps to choose the optimal location for the amplifier, but also signals the network status and connection stability. Well, it adds a lot to the look.

Ethernet port

An interesting addition is the ability to use it as a wireless adapter — for this, the model is equipped with an Ethernet connector. With it, you can connect one device (TV, console, PC) that is deprived of the ability to connect via Wi-Fi. When working with Ethernet, it provides a connection speed of 100 Mbps, for wireless networks at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, you can expect speeds up to 300 Mbps.

No flaws

In general, this stylish device is able to fit into any interior, and the ease of setup allows you to connect even with a minimum of knowledge. The presence of a LAN port will allow you to connect devices that are unable to connect to Wi-Fi, but have a similar port on board.
